  10. I have had a quick look on sending Apple events from one part to
  11. another, but have not quite figured out all details...
  12.  
  13. I would like to send a "play" and "stop" message to the SoundEditor
  14. part from DR4. I have got a reference to (wrapper of) the sound part.

  16. If I have understood things right, I should use the ODMessageInterface
  17. that I can get from the Session, with calls to CreatePartObjSpec,
  18. CreatePartAddrDescr, CreateEvent and Send. I guess my trouble
  19. starts when I have to use the AEPutParamDescr; the parameters of this
  20. function do not seem to match the ones I get back from ODMessageInterface's
  21. methods.

  23. Does anyone have any experience with this, or better still: some
  24. working example code?

  26. I am using a configuration of OD DR4, ODF d11 and CW7.
